I have always dreamed of being a teacher. Playing school was my favorite and my friends often left playdates with homework. When I got old enough, I volunteered to help my little brother’s elementary teacher whenever I could. Then in high school, I was able to be a teaching assistant in a preschool classroom. I loved it! Since then I have had placements in classrooms from PreK to 8th grade. 
 

​ I grateful to have been a teacher at Shay Elementary for seven years, where I developed a deep love for education—cherishing those “lightbulb moments” with students, collaborating with amazing colleagues, and supporting parents in their child’s learning journey. I left my classroom in 2025 to stay home with daughter, but I didn’t want to loose the teacher side of me. Inspired by this passion, I created Creutz Learning Collaborative (CLC) to extend my work beyond the classroom—engaging with learners, supporting families, and enriching our community.
